Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Cheerful Polka Dots make us happy! If you have something with polka dots wear it today!
National Polka Dot Day - I heard that on the Christian Radio today - they must follow the same calendar you do. lol
Best wishes for a speedy recovery for your son!
First and foremost, prayers lifting for DS #5 and a speedy recovery! That had to have been frightening. None of my family members has been affected, but I understand the pain is something awful.
I once had a favorite work outfit in light brown with white polka dots -- it (not me!) looked just like the one Julia Roberts wore in Pretty Woman.
Praying all goes well with your son. I fortunately have never had gall bladder surgery. It is great to have insurance coverage when an emergency arrives.
I smiled at the polka dot day. As a kid I had a bike painted with Polka dots, I called it Polkadotted Lightening. LOL
Stay safe...
Best wishes to your son, hope he’s feeling better very soon. Polka Dot Day! Love that! Love Polka Dots! xo, V.
My Mom surprised me with a
plush & bean filled Minnie Mouse
on the plane coming back home from Florida
when I was a kid many moons ago
She secretly bought her at Disney World
I still have her
Get well soon #5!
