Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Appreciate the roof over your head today!
Amen(!) to sound shelter over our heads. Sometimes it's easy to take that for granted.
Considering all the repairs we've had to do in the last 5 years, I think you choosing to rent with maintenance included was a wise decision. I love my little home but were it not for Tom there's no way I could handle the regular upkeep.
PS - I think taste testing is absolutely necessary. (heh-heh)
As we age we learn. I have always thought owning was THE END, THE BEST for everyone. But as I grew and built I learned that some folks cannot own, they cannot afford or do the up keep and stay put down. I am also learning as you are there comes a time when owning is NOT the answer. Some facts just hit you in the face.
I think you are wise and we wish you the best.. Life can be confusing. LOL
I am thankful for my roof over head too. I love your place and how it has it's own handyman. So when do you move?
