Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Enjoy a root beer float! It will cool you down!
Grandma showed us what "ice cream soda" was. It was tremendous. Good memories.
My grandmother used to call a root beer float a ‘brown cow’ …and a ‘black cow’ was made with Coke a cola.
Thanks for the posts, it’s always a fun learning experience to visit you here! Happy day, V.
We had no fast-food establishments in my hometown, but I'll never forget the time when, on vacation, my dad pulled into an A&W and the girl came out with frosty mugs on a tray. Every now and then Tom will make him an ice cream float with 'Dad's' rootbeer. I may not be a fan, but it sure looks pretty!
Bottoms up! 😋
