Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

The electric waffle iron is a wonderful invention. It makes waffle making easy to do.
Ahhhh waffles. I was grown before I had a waffle. They were not part of my childhood. Pan cakes were the closest thing to it.
I was in the military before I even saw one. LOL Yep I was raised under a rock. LOL
As always enjoyed the visit.

PS But I do love them, they are my favorite eat out breakfast!
I can close my eyes and still picture my mother's old waffle iron ... the kind with a cloth-covered cord. What a pain that must have been to keep clean!
Tom enjoys waffles and I've toyed with the thought of buying him one of those mini waffle makers. We sure don't need another 'gadget', but it might encourage him to eat a little more.
I tell you what I love them but I try not to eat them. Those looked a little bit like funnel cakes. Yummy.
