Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Bananas are good and very good for you too!
I enjoy the history lessons you add. YES lots of recipes came fromthe Great Depression, we do enjoy banana bread.
We too are warmer here. Actually it is like summer here today.
Love from NC
Sherry & jack (Sherry would love choc chips in the banana bread...)
Oh, I LOVE banana bread. Maybe just a bit too much! LOL!
I read a story about bananas being transported by train, that it made a huge difference in their sales. I really do wish I could remember things. I will have to look it up!
We love banana nut bread here, as well. Like my mother before me, I always make a loaf for my son on his birthday (December) and keep one for ourselves. Now I'm wondering why I only make it once a year?!
Today is National Banana Bread Day - YEAH - I love banana bread - have you ever had it with cream cheese frosting?
