Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale!
AHHHH Fairy TAles. Yep as a kid I loved them Hansel and Greta I think were my favorites and then of course 'Jack & the Bean Stalk!' I imagine most families grew up with those tales... I think even in first grade they showed up also.
Again nice visit to your house. It is nice to have 'nothing to do' at times. ;-) Today has ben one of those here.
Love ya

Grimms' Fairy Tales was a fixture in my childhood home! The best was having them read to me out-loud before I grew old enough to read.
So glad you treated yourself to a slice of birthday cake!
Sweet dreams tonight, and I hope you wake tomorrow all refreshed!
I too was raised on Fairy Tales - but now the theory is if you really listen to them they are really scary and mean!
