Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Appreciate your spouse today and let them know how much they mean to you!
What a beautiful couple and day you had. Thankful for all the memories you had together. Enjoy your day today and many more ahead.
I was just going to say, the two of you made such a beautiful couple!
Ouch on that "no salt, no sugar" mandate! You're one of the most determined ladies I know, so I've no doubt you'll find a way to comply and discover tasty alternatives. BTW, one of my blogger friends in Florida (MadSnapper), today is her 6th anniversary of no sugar.
My weakness is sodium. Not sure I could ever cut it out completely, but I found a flavorful seasoning called "17" on Tom's dinner tray when he was hospitalized. I couldn't find it anywhere in the local supermarkets, but was able to order it on Amazon.
You two made a beautiful couple. My oh my he died too young. I am so sorry. That had to be rough and to have to raise the kids. But you seem like a really strong woman.
My husband just went to his heart doctor today - he almost died in Nov. 21 if advanced heart failure. He gave up all salt. I think it was a miracle.
Good luck on your sugar - I have the same sweet tooth.
