ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
FOR THURSDAY,AUGUST 29TH, 2019
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

If you can’t see the bright side, polish the dull side .
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
There's rosemary, that’s for remembrance, pray love, remember…
William Shakespear.
The first picture above is of my small herb garden here at my house. I planted, parsley, thyme, oregano and basil. I love cooking with fresh herbs. If you’ve never used fresh, you won’t believe the difference they make.
The only problem I have growing them is wintering them over indoors. I’ve had no success with that but otherwise they are very easy to grow.
Today is also DS#1’s birthday and since he is no longer here, He died now a little over 2 years ago, I decided I’d honor his family today. They are all reminders of him in one way or the other and I’m so thankful for each one of them. I’ve already told you about our family gathering to celebrate the end of summer and to celebrate his birthday. when we met for dinner a week or so ago. So today I’ll tell you a bit about each of them. Our Princess, his oldest daughter, is the smart one of the family, Being smart was inherited from her dad. Like him she’s an honor student snd loves learning. Her grades are something to be admired. Our Prince Charming, his only son, is the opposite and is the one who like his dad, has a love for life, but enjoys having fun more than studying. He loves sports, especially hockey, and his dad encouraged him in what he does. His second daughter, Our Sweetheart, reminds us always that you don’t have to be perfect in order to be loved. We all love her sweet smiles when ever we get one and she is funny too in her own way, just like her dad, has a unique sense of humor. DDIL#1 is probably the opposite of DS#1 because she kept him grounded and managed to keep him on track. Some one we all need in our lives.
They are a wonderful family and a testament to my son. He has a wonderful family that we love always just like we love him always. They all seem to be doing very well since his death and I think always will due to the influence they had in a loving father and husband. I may be just a bt prejudiced as I sing his praises, but I do think he was a wonderful son and am very proud of him and his family.
Other than my pot of herbs, Today’s pictures are of our Princese's back to school pictures this year as she headed off to college for her 2nd year.
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
