ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Welcome March !
The month of March is Irish American Month, Music in Our Schools Month, National Craft Month, National Frozen Food Month, National Nutrition Month, National Peanut Month, National Women’s History Month, Red Cross Month and Social Workers Month.
Today is Peanut Butter Lovers Day which salutes America’s favorite sandwich spread. Smooth Peanut Butter is by far the most popular. Crunchy peanut butter is also on the market and enjoyed by many.
Peanut butter is an excellent source of protein and healthy fats and can help reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. It’s popular on crackers and celery, carrots and apples. It is used in recipes for cookies and snacks.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
March brings breezes loud and shrill,
Stirs the dancing daffodil
Sara Coleridge
I’m so glad March is here. The days are getting longer and before we know Daylight Savings Time will return on March 11th, giving us an extra hour of daylight in the mornings.
I struggled with motivation in February, but now I’m looking forward to a busier more successful month. Thanks to my pretty calendar, I hope to keep on track and get a lot done before the month of April arrives.
We are to start the day with some rain and temps in the 40’s but overnight it’s to change into snow and we may see some accumulation by tomorrow. March is coming in like a lion.
I hope you all have a GREAT day. Happy Thursday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
It is the first mild day of March:
Each minute sweeter than before…
There is a blessing in the air,
Which seems a sense of joy to yield
The the bare trees, and mountains bare
And grass in the green field..
We from today, my Friend, will date
The opening of the year.
Love now an universal birth,
From heart to heart is stealing,
From earth to man, from man to earth:
—It is the hour of feeling.
William Wordsworth
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
5755. for a new month
5756. for peanut butter, good and good for you
5757. for longer hours of daylight
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Indoors or out, no one relaxes
In March, that month of wind and taxes
The wind will presently disappear,
The taxes last us all year.
Ogden Nash
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,
ma

Happy March Pam! It is Saint David's Day (the patron saint of Wales) here today! Sadly no daffodils at the moment, just a LOT of snow! Its bitter cold. Love all of your Easter Bunnies. It will be Easter before we know it! One of my favourite holidays next to Christmas! God bless! xoxo
Looks like March is a really important month.... lots of Nationals. :) My favorite is National Craft Month. That feels inspiring to me... so after a couple loads of laundry I think I'll go craft something. Thank you for the nudge, MA! Lovingly~ Andrea xxx
I used to love March because it always heralded the hope of spring. Here in Newfoundland, I have to wait until April ..... or even May for that! Rabbit Rabbit, MA.
It's been a long time since I've enjoyed JIF (xtra crunchy) peanut butter ... but it was a favored staple for years! When my son was an adolescent he and I packed a jar on our trip to Greece. In fact, we enjoyed eating it out the jar in our hotel room as our supper. (At dinner, the vision of whole fish with their heads intact had spoiled our appetites. LOL.)
PS - If memory serves March is also someone's birthday? *smile*
