ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!
Hallmark
Today is March Forth and Do Something Day which encourage people to do something new that enriches their own lives or the lives of others.
The name of this unofficial holiday plays on the words, march fourth, which when spoke out loud sounds like march forth - an expression used to cover action and moving forward.
Every March 4th you get to march forth! It’s a time to sing your own song, play that tune, run that mile, build your dreams and make those thoughts and wishes come true. We only have one life, so it’s best to live it well.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
March! March! March! They are coming
In troops to the tune of the wind.
Redheaded woodpeckers drumming,
Gold - crested thrushes behind;
Sparrows in brown jackets hopping
Past every gateway and door;
Finches, with crimson caps, stopping
Just where they stopped before.
March! March! March! They are slipping
Into their places at last…
Literature white lily buds, dripping
Under the showers that fall fast;
Buttercups, violets, roses;
Snow drop and bluebell and pink,
Throng upon throng of sweet posies
Bending the dewdrops to drink.
March! March! March! They will hurry
Forth at the wind bugle sounds,
Blossoms and birds in a flurry,
Fluttering all over the ground.
Shake out your flags, birch and willow!
Shake out your red tassels, larch!
Grass blades, up from your earth - pillow.
Hear who is calling you…March.
Lucy Larcom, March
I am marching forth this 4th day of March. With health restored I’ll be off to church this morning! I’ve missed my weekly hour of refreshment and renewal.
The month of March does bring a lot of action and activity. New growth is seen in every day. Birds are returning and soon flowers will be blooming. Our neighborhood geese have returned and there have been days when the yard has been full of Grackles too. We won’t see them long and then they’ll move on.
A lot of our snow melted away yesterday and I could hear the snow and ice melting as it fell from the trees onto my rooftop. The temps are to be right around 35 degrees for a few days now, but we will see some days in the lower 40’s this coming week too.
On the bright side we have had sunshine 2 days in a row!
I hope you all have a RELAXING Sunday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
If we had no winter; the spring would not be so pleasant.
Anne Bradstreet
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
5764. for renewed health
5765. for the buds on the maple tree letting us know Spring is coming
5766. for my church, I’ve been going there well over 50 years now
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

I'm going to church too this morning. Starting to feel great again. That 2nd week after the flu - I felt good enough to go to work but was just exhausted by days end. I caught up on sleep as best as I could on the weekends and didn't get to church. But today was determined. We'll be heading out here in about 10 minutes. Thankful for some blog reading time.
So glad you are better and able to go to church!
March forth on March 4th! I love it!
Thanks for the poem, I really love it.
Great to see the name of Lewis Grizzard at the end of your post. I miss him, he was a wonderful guy, a fellow Georgian!
How blessed you are to have a front-row seat to the changing of the seasons. Living in Florida and Arizona three decades now, I've missed those subtle-but-Important moments. Thank you for reminding me what's out there!
I love that Pam! The idea of marching forth on March fourth! I, too, love the changing seasons and have been blessed to always live where I get a front row seat! Xoxo
