ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
The moments of our lives may be bright with possibility, dark with fear or sadness, or even plain everyday gray, but God's glory never fades. May God's glory shine into the exciting lights, upsetting darks, and boring grays of your every day.

Life is a Special Occasion!

Today is World Back Up Day which serves as a very important reminder to secure vital files, by making a back up copy.
In today’s world nearly everything is on an electronic file stored in your cell phone or computer. Many of us do not take the time to back up our files. Some things just cannot be replaced and a system crash can erase important files, documents and photos.
So we are encouraged to stop and back up all our files, it only takes a few minutes.
If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Here comes Peter Cottontail
Hoppin’ down the bunny trail
Hippity, hoppity, Easter’s on the way!
I have lost many photos over the years and regret not having a back up. As easy as it may be, I simply didn’t take the time to make a back up copy. I think we’ve all been there and done that at one time or another.
Today is also the Full Sap Moon. It is the second full Moon in March and therefore is commonly called a Blue Moon. With all the clouds here, I probably won’t get to see it, but if you do, think of me as I’ll be thinking of you. We all live under the same moon and somehow that seems to bring us closer together, no matter how far apart we may be.
Today is the Saturday before Easter which is also called Holy Saturday. It’s a preparation day for Easter Sunday and today many will be dying eggs. That is what the pictures are of today — some of my grandchildren having fun coloring eggs a couple of years ago. Easter eggs are a symbol of new life and rebirth and that is what we will be celebrating tomorrow.
I’m going to be off on a little day trip today with my two youngest sons and their families . Hopefully I’ll have some pictures to show you soon. We’re headed into the big city and will do a Lolly the trolly historical tour. Should be fun.
I hope you all have a SUPER Saturday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
Joy comes with the morning!
Psalm 30
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
5845. for backups that store important files and photos
5846. for Easter eggs and their brilliant colors
5847. for a full moon reminding us what a small world it is
Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!
PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Almighty and eternal God,
Protect our military
as they discharge their duties
with the shield of your strength,
may the power of your love
enable them to return home in safety
that with all who love them
they may ever praise you for your loving care.
AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters
and Paramedics and EMT’s
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
ADVICE FOR TODAY
Holy Saturday: The best reminder that silence of God doesn’t equal the absence of God.
A little smile, a word of cheer,
A bit of love from someone dear…
Love,
ma

Thank you for sharing pictures of your grands coloring eggs. We aren't coloring any here this year! I will think of you Ma, if I see the full moon tonight. So far the skies here are clear!
I love the photo of those dyed Easter eggs, they did such a great job!
Happy Easter to you and yours.
I suspect there's little as cute as children creating Easter eggs!
'Embarrassed to admit, not only have I not backed up my digi pix and files, but I've no idea where to begin. (So glad the 'web' has tutorials for everything!)
