Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Had no idea there was such a thing as "road map" day! Thank God for them. I don't have a GPS, don't want one; maps are the way to go for me!
I love road maps. Have always been a very good map reader, but hubby prefers GPS. Haha, when his battery is dead I will still be able to find my way.
sweet little boy, so full of joy.
and I wish I had kept a map of my journey!
I have to show this post to a friend of mine who learned the hard way that I can't read maps. Fortunately I don't drive so I have little need to read one unless I'm directing someone else--then it can become a disaster! But I do like the idea of a road map for my life!
I like checking out road maps. We carry a North America atlas in our car (as well as a GPS) and it gets frequent use. That's an interesting fact about the numbering of US Interstates. They're not random after all, and it's easy to remember 'Even numbers for East/west'.
Enjoy your weekend.
