My granddaughter and my youngest son both share this birthday but are 20 years apart in age.  Having a double birthday celebration is a wonderful thing.

I think for all of us, whether we are old, young or in between, birthdays are very special days.  But as fun as they are to celebrate, truly every day is a cause for celebration.  It might be a good idea to think of each new day as our birthday.  Every day brings something exciting and new !

Both of these birthdays are long distance celebrations for me, but as usual the cards are in the mail.  Sooner or later I'll be catching up with them and then we can enjoy some hugs and smiles together.  It won't be today, still I always like to think that those we love are just as close as our heart, because there is where we keep them always.

COUNTING MY GIFTS

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS

Please pray for God's protection of

our troops and HIS wisdom for their

commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in

your loving hands.

Protect them as they protect us.

Bless them and their families for the

selfless acts they perform for us

in our time of need. I ask this in the

name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters

and Paramedics and EMT's
