Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

I like cuddle up day, Ma. I think I'll be doing that this afternoon with a book and a blanket on the couch (and I'm sure I'll sneak a nap in too :)
That is cold with 9 degrees out! Glad it is warming up a bit.
I do remember Little Christmas being January 6 when I was growing up and our decorations being taken down afterwards. It is hard to believe 12 days have passed since Christmas too. Time seems already to be flying in this new year.
betty
I wrote about Epiphany, too! It shows our age! (laughing)... your posts always cheer me! I'll gladly remember your friend and her sister in my prayers.
I cuddled up with the furr babies after church for a good ole nap! Wonderful!! I like seeing the countdown to Spring!!
