Want to bring in the New Year on the right foot? Well, it’s just your luck because today is Festival Of Enormous Changes At The Last Minute. So spend the whole day making major positive life changes. 

Take time out today to complete work on your previous year's resolutions. 

Make those changes!

When the rays of the summer sun beat down upon us, I always try to remind myself not to complain because sure enough winter will come, so I smile, and enjoy the warmth while I have it.  The seasons change and so do we.

There have been so many changes in my life.  Some good and some not so good.  The biggest change for me this year was the addition of two new grands to our family.  

The not so good part of 2012 was saying goodbye to my camper and the lovely hill I got to visit from April through October.  I'm going to miss it very much, but it is only a place and the people in my life are much more important.  I am very thankful that I haven't had to say goodbye to any of them this year.

There will be many more changes in the days ahead, but they say it's how we handle those changes that counts. 

 Today's pictures are of just some of my grands at Christmas this year.

COUNTING MY GIFTS

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

I am trying to count at least 3 things I'm thankful for each day and then in 1 year's time I'll have counted 1000 gifts.

I’ll be sharing what I'm thankful for and giving thanks to God for these gifts each day, 

128. for being able to babysit for some my grandchildren

129. for the folks that have had many long hours clearing our roadways this past week

130. for all the changes that happened in my life this year, good or bad we have to be thankful for them all.

Enter into His courts with thanksgiving — and in His presence is fullness of Joy!

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS

Please pray for God's protection of

our troops and HIS wisdom for their

commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in

your loving hands.

Protect them as they protect us.

Bless them and their families for the

selfless acts they perform for us

in our time of need. I ask this in the

name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters

and Paramedics and EMT's
