Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Loved when we would go caroling at places, Ma. It was always fun and well received! Silent Night was my mom's favorite Christmas song; always think of her when I sing it or hear it; but such a great message in the words indeed!
The other day I was at children's church and we had sung Joy to the World. One of the little boys asked if we had Christmas songs. I said Joy to the World was one. He said other ones. I said like what? He said "Jingle Bells". I had to laugh and tell him when we come to church we like to sing Jesus Christmas songs :)
