Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Hi Ma. Thanks for the reminder about letter writing day; perhaps I'll get to my annual Xmas letter today.
I like the things you are thankful for with your gifts, Ma. The ability to write and express ourselves is indeed a gift, whether it is through a letter, an email, a blog post, etc.
I like the concept of letter writing day! I think it is always nice to get a letter or card in the mail rather than a bill :)

Goodness, I haven't sent a handwritten letter in years...I used to do that all the time.
Hope you have a grand weekend.

You sure do have a little cutie there with the reindeer hat on. Lol. I'm working on getting ready for Christmas, but it's a slow go. I love your decoration. Jean
