ON THE BRIGHT SIDE

TODAY'S THOUGHT
There are no diamonds if coal is not crushed and heated...
There is no oil, if olives are not squeezed...
No wine, if grapes are not pressed...
No perfume, if flowers are not crushed...
Have you felt any pressure in life today?
Don't worry... God is just bringing out the best in you!
JUST FOR TODAY
We all need to look for the silver linings in our day-to-day lives
Just for today: With faith and confidence, I will trust that there is a time and a season for each change in my life. With planning, insight, and prayer, I will trust as I step forward to change
TODAY’S QUOTE
An unread Bible is like food uneaten, a love letter never read, a buried sword, a road map unstudied, gold never mined

IT’S FRIDAY !!
Yes, it is finally Friday! What a long long work week this was!
I’m off now for a couple of days of R&R at the campground. It will seem rather strange as DS#1 and family won’t be there. He and his wife leave for the sunny and hot south for a little vacation and DD and her hubby won’t be there as they’re attending a nephew’s graduation party this weekend.
The weatherman has those nice dark clouds with a lightning streak going through in the forecast so I’m hoping at least it won’t rain the entire weekend. I need to soak up some sunshine.
I’ll be praying for safe trips for DS#1 and his wife and for DS#6 and his wife too as they leave tomorrow for their vacation visiting with DS#2.
Have a great day all ! Another wonderful one on the Way !
TODAY’S PRAYERS
Thank you, God, for loving us so much that you provide ways to forgive and heal. Thank you for others who show us your way
Amen
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders.
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU!

Today is Emancipation Day in Texas, also called Juneteenth. It took more than two-and-a-half years after Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation went into effect for Union troops to land in Galveston, Texas. TODAY’S SMILE
A few short ones today…
Put your ear to the ground, your shoulder to the wheel and your nose to the grindstone. Now try to work in that position
I'm planning to retire and live off my savings. What I'll do the second day, I have no idea
COMPUTER FIRST AID
I work in a busy office where a computer going down causes quite an inconvenience. Recently one of our computers not only crashed, it made a noise that sounded like a heart monitor. This computer has flat-lined, a co-worker called out with mock horror. Does anyone here know how to do . . . mouse-to-mouse resuscitation?
TODAY’S REFLECTION
Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing
Mark 4: 35-41
Jesus states that we, His disciples, will undergo storms and trials. It is a test for you, but it should not catch you off guard. When Jesus the Good Shepherd judges it to be the proper time, He will lead you from the stormy waters to the still waters. Until He does this, trust Him and do not fear.
Jesus is Lord of all storms.
TODAY’S ADVICE
When the down of a dandelion contracts, it is a sign of rain.

Psalm 37:4
May there be a miracle in YOUR life today
and may you have the EYES to SEE it!
I Love You All !!!
Be Blessed !!!
