Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today and grab a bag of your favorite gummi worms and enjoy this tasty treat !
Lovely inspiring post.
I love how you mix faith, food, and a little fun like gummi worms and dirt pudding memories. Even quiet days feel full of warmth and love through your words
When is your family coming home? I remember the dirt cakes - never made one myself. Hope the rain comes in a manageable downpour.
That 'dirt cake' is so creative! I can just imagine the joy in children's eyes. I'm so glad you're safely apart from those flood waters. I can't seem to tear my eyes away from the horrible headlines and news coverage. God bless the responders and volunteers, alike.
