Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Happy Anniversary to DD and DSIL!
Pecan pie used to be my favorite dessert ... my mother made it with coconut flakes, and I'm still heartsick to have lost her recipe. Oh, I suppose I could try and recreate but I don't NEED the carbs and Tom's not fond of coconut. Thanks for the memories, Ma!
Happy 😊 Anniversary 💕
Aw shucks, great pictures, and I loved the thought for the day:
Family is like pecan pie. Something sweet holding all the nuts together.
Ain't that the truth! and of course this is my favorite pie for sure. We once camped at a park near San Antonio when the pecans were ready for harvest and we were in a grove. All the pecans we could gather free and THEY WERE VERY GOOD!!!
