Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate today by getting the grill out for a Memorial Day cookout and remember to take a moment to remember the men and women who died serving our Country.
Thanks to all the men and women who gave their lives so that we remain free.
I hope you have a nice day!
Our family also has veterans from several wars; two were in Civil war, one was in WW1, and my dad was in WW2. One claimed being in the Spanish American war. We were lucky to avoid Vietnam as it ended right after we married. Our own children are lucky to live in times without a war going on.
Tom grilled steaks earlier today ... yet we made it a point to watch last night's PBS National Concert and remember. Gosh, those first-person stories never fail to make me weep.
