Decide to be happy today, to live with what is yours – your family, your business, your job, your luck. If you can’t have what you like, maybe you can like what you have.
Just for today, be kind, cheerful, agreeable, responsive, caring, and understanding. Be your best, dress your best, talk softly, and look for the bright side of things. Praise people for what they do and do not criticize them for what they cannot do. If someone does something stupid, forgive and forget. After all, it’s just for one day.
Who knows, it might turn out to be a nice day.

Celebrate and eat some fresh tomatoes, They make delicious sandwiches and salads.
Now I will have to go to the store! Homegrown tomatoes are a treat these days.
How beautiful those fresh veggies! For more than 70 years I detested tomatoes -- and would pick them out of whatever dish I was served. Then, for some unexplainable reason, I've learned to love them. The small 'Roma' variety, that is. They're really popular here in the South on plain white bread, but I've yet to try that.
I do miss fresh tomatoes at this time of year. So many of the ones I'd buy at the grocery taste like cardboard. Waiting for them to appear in the Farmer's Market. Love the big tomatoes from New Jersey.
I love tomatoes and other fresh veggies. I think they taste so much better than the ones in the store. Sometimes we have fresh stands by the side of the road. A nice warm tomato!
