Irish Blessing

As our Prince Charming was participating in a hockey tournament close to home this past weekend, I was able to spend a little time with him and celebrate his birthday then.  It's hard to believe what a wonderful young man he is growing up to be.  He's a blessing to us all.  

After a busy long weekend here, today will be a little more on quiet side here at home.  All my visitors are gone and it's time to get back into the ordinary side of life with laundry and cleaning and everyday tasks.

I'm thankful for the busy times, but I do enjoy the quieter times too.

COURAGE

God, you know me better than I know myself. Give me the courage to let some things go, and the wisdom to hold fast to what is true. For it is only by your grace that my whole life can be a reflection of your love. Amen

COUNTING MY GIFTS

Remembering the gift of life,
we thank God and celebrate.

I am trying to count at least 3 things I'm thankful for each day and then in 1 year's time I'll have counted 1000 gifts.

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS

Please pray for God's protection of

our troops and HIS wisdom for their

commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in

your loving hands.

Protect them as they protect us.

Bless them and their families for the

selfless acts they perform for us

in our time of need. I ask this in the

name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

AND bless our Police Officers, Firefighters

and Paramedics and EMT's
