DO A GROUCH A FAVOR DAY

Do a Grouch a Favor today. Do it and make the world a better place.

Everyone has been a grouch at one time or another. Some people are seemingly grouches all of the time. It's in their nature. Others are occasional grouches, influenced by events in their lives, lack of sleep, the weather, etc. A few people are good at disguising their grouchy mood. But, they still need cheering up.

 Look around for someone who is in a grouchy mood today. Then, do him or her a favor that will cheer up their day. There's plenty of grouches out there to practice on. Try it on all of the grouches that you see today, and watch the results!

Why not help out a Grouchy Gus by doing them a favor? It may pay off and they'll actually be nice to you tomorrow.

If you would like to spoil the day for a grouch, give him a smile.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Try to turn that frown, upside down.

The power of a smile is a wonderful thing.  We all know that smiles are just frowns turned upside down.  Our attitudes often need readjusting.  Not just our own but others too.  It was easy when my children were upset to turn their attitudes around when they were young, I'd just give them hugs and tickles and suddenly we had lots of SMILES and giggles, but for those that are older, it isn't quite the same. 

It seems lots of folks are having a hard time smiling right now.  Winter and all its weary days are getting the best of us.  I've been on the down side thinking about what I'm going to be doing this Spring not having a camper to go to, but thanks to DS#4, my frowns got turned upside down this past weekend.  He called to say he was arranging a flight for me to come visit them the end of April.  Now I've really got something to look forward to.  I'll get time to spend some time in the sun and time with my Sunshine Boys that are always full of smiles and giggles!

Their Spring weather will definitely be in full bloom when I get to go there.  Here we may or may not have warm sunny days.  For the most part April is rather wet here.  We may have a few blooms, but it's often very chilly out. 

So a big THANK YOU to DS#4 today! He turned my frown upside down!

Dear Lord, I want to dare to hope, but life around me seems uncertain and tentative. Will You help me remember Your faithfulness, love and mercy and that your promises are always true.  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

PRAYER FOR OUR TROOPS

Please pray for God's protection of

our troops and HIS wisdom for their

commanders.

Lord, hold our troops in

your loving hands.

Protect them as they protect us.

Bless them and their families for the

selfless acts they perform for us

in our time of need. I ask this in the

name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
