Back in junior high I desperately wanted to write with a fountain pen ... but being left-handed, inevitably I wound up with ink all over the side of my hand and usually, smeared on the paper.

Like Betty, we're on a 'plan' with APS: 81 during the day and 76 at night. Unfortunately, in our rush to get to the airport last month I forgot to raise the temp so the unit ran and ran and ran. Nothing to do but ante up and try not to make than mistake again. Just like Betty!! It helps keep the house cooler too. We were supposed to hit 90 today but it is almost noon and we are barely past 70. Very cloudy. And I love iced tea. I filled the fridge with gallons of peach tea this morning. My favorite!Paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17406717262345866373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5626705650115550220.post-66979182509819523142017-06-10T09:47:41.399-04:002017-06-10T09:47:41.399-04:00Those were all great tips for keeping cool this su...Those were all great tips for keeping cool this summer, Ma, without running the air conditioner too much. We have to run it here a lot, but keep it at 80 during the day and 78 at night. We are on a plan through the electric company that you pay more for electricity 12 noon to 7 p.m. so we don't run any appliances like washer, dryer, dishwasher during that time and keep the air conditioner at 80 then. Anything to try to save a few dollars here and there.

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.com
