Having been married (the first time) to a gay man, I remember being terrified that somehow I might have been infected. Thankfully not! We have come a long way since then, in both understanding and treatment, thank goodness! God bless your day! xoxo PS - Love your photo of Mr Wonderful! You have lovely grandchildren. I'll never forget the first time I went for a dental appointment and the technician was wearing mask and gloves. Almost offended! (Then again, how are they to know one from another?)

Your Mr. Wonderful looks so G.Q. in his dress shirt and tie! Off-hand, I can't think of anything more adorable than little ones' Christmas pageants and recitals.Mevely317https://www.blogger.com/profile/14786988262452989091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5626705650115550220.post-1998250069632216212017-12-01T15:12:38.158-05:002017-12-01T15:12:38.158-05:00I was in nursing school in the 1980's when we ...I was in nursing school in the 1980's when we were just beginning to learn about HIV. I only cared for one patient with Aids during my nursing career. (One, that I know of). It was a very scary disease back then. I think many are living with it. More than we probably know. Have a great weekend!Paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17406717262345866373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5626705650115550220.post-30603640185701782052017-12-01T13:12:21.068-05:002017-12-01T13:12:21.068-05:00It's horrifying that so many people are still ...It's horrifying that so many people are still being newly diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. It isn't in the news as much as it once was, so maybe people are getting too complacent about it?

Ah, HA! Great minds DO think alike... we both shared the concept of having the Christmas spirit all year round in our posts today. (But in a way, you exemplify it in every single one of your posts.)

I eat a lot of apples, but rarely any red ones, except for honey crisps, which have tinges of red... and make GREAT pies. Your cake recipe sounds terrific, too.

Have a super weekend, dear lady.Susan Flett Swiderskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09425315552148200073noreply@blogger.com
