I am so glad you had a nice time with your family. I love cranberries. I always have done. I keep them in my freezer all the time. Just a month from today we will be sitting on Christmas Eve. This year has just sped by. I wanted to ask you if you could please keep my youngest son in your prayers in the New Year as he heads off to Iraq. He doesn't really want me telling people, but this mother's heart wants all the prayers for his safety that she can get. Thanks! I know you are a special prayer warrior! xxooMarie Raynerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00407913432222377267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5626705650115550220.post-78449099584296194072014-11-23T20:53:17.542-05:002014-11-23T20:53:17.542-05:00I never thought of adding the cranberry juice to i...I never thought of adding the cranberry juice to iced tea. What a great twist!

Personally, I'm not so fond of the jellied (canned) cranberry ... I think it might stem from (wasn't it?) the late 50's or early 60's when there was this big health scare about canned cranberries.

Soooo glad your family get-together was a great one! Glad you enjoyed your time celebrating Thanksgiving with your familly! I know times together with family are very special times indeed!

I too like cranberry. It was always a tradition to have cranberry sauce growing up for Thanksgiving. Last year son made homemade cranberry sauce that came out pretty good. I have a recipe that goes into the crockpot with chicken and cranberries. I made it last year and served it with stuffing and it almost seemed like Thanksgiving :)

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.com
