If you can't see the Bright Side, polish the dull side
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Every year on your birthday, you get a chance to start new.
Today we celebrate my favorite SIL’s birthday. Truthfully he is my only SIL so of course he’d be my favorite. I only have one daughter and he is her husband and a happy addition to our family. I got to see him on Sunday so gave him his birthday hugs then.
On the news here they said that we are now celebrating 99 days of sunset 8:30 pm or later. I certainly am enjoying the longer daylight hours. It wasn’t long ago that it was dark at 6:00 and I had to fight staying awake past 8:00.
These 99 days are always some of my most productive and am very glad to shake away the days of hibernation that I fought all winter long.
It’s time to let the summertime roll !
Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday !
COUNTING MY GIFTS
The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.
Counting at least 3 things every day that I'm thankful for. There is truly is always something to be thankful for.
2754. for DSIL, it’s his birthday today
2755. for longer daylight hours
2756. for buds on the Iris plants, they’ll be blooming soon
