Happy Birthday to our little Lad today!
May the dear Lord bless you today and always!
He is 4 years old now and such a great little boy!
I hope this special day is a wonderful one for him!
I’m so thankful to have a Grandson like you!
You brighten up my life!
I love YOU!
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Grandchildren are the dots that connect the lines from generation to generation.
The pictures today are of our little Lad's birthday last year. We celebrated with him at our family Thanksgiving celebration here at my house. In just a few short days now we’ll be gathering again and I can’t wait to give this little one a special birthday hug. He has such a beautiful head of curly hair and big eyes that just melt your heart.
All of my grandchildren are such a blessing. I love being with them and even though I don’t get to spend much time with many of them, I hope they all know just how much they are loved.
Our weather forecast is going south fast this week. Now snow has appeared in the forecast for the coming weekend. I’m hoping that it won’t be much at all as that is when my family will be traveling for our Thanksgiving get together. We can handle the cold, but the snow is very unpredictable and can make roads interesting to say the least.
I hope you all have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
COUNTING MY GIFTS
If becoming a grandmother was only a matter of choice, I should advise every one of you straight away to become one. There is no fun for old people like it!
Hannah Whithall Smith
I have counted at least 3 things I'm thankful for this past year and have now reached my 1000 gifts. I'm not stopping, but will continue on counting. There is always, always something to be thankful for.
1145. for our little Lad, 4 years old today!
1146. for the JOY of being a grandmother
1147. for no damage here from Sunday’s storm, not one shingle missing from the roof
