ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
NOBEMBER 20TH, 2009
I thought I was done shopping for tomorrow but yesterday I went to the store and got more…I don’t know why because we always have way too much food, but I kept thinking of things to have on hands like everyone’s favorite chips and something for a little craft for the kids to do ( involving Oreo cookies ) and well I came out with 5 more bags full.
I still probably forgot something. We’ll see…
November is the month when we remember all the things we are thankful for and the One that makes them possible
The God of Miracles
Lord, I praise you because You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the people . . .
NEW IN THE KITCHEN
This was the dinner that DS#3 provided for us last summer. Mmmm…it was very good too!
Pumpkin Pie Dip
This one I’m making to share tomorrow
1 15-oz. can of pumpkin pie filling1 8-oz. package of cream cheese
Mix well with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth
1 teaspoon Cinnamon1/2 teaspoon Ground Ginger
Serve with apple wedges and gingersnap cookies
ATTIRE FOR TODAY
No there won’t be T-shirts and shorts worn today. The picture of DS#1 and his family above is strictly wishful thinking. It is supposed to be in the 50’s and mostly cloudy again later today after a chill start at 39 degrees.
Source of all good, make us aware that wealth is transient. Help us store up riches in heaven by doing your will on earth.
Please pray for God's protection of
our troops and HIS wisdom for their
Lord, hold our troops in
your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the
selfless acts they perform for us
in our time of need. I ask this in the
name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
Wouldn’t it be grand if I had all the grand’babes’ together like they were in this picture that was taken at our family reunion in 2008. I don’t think quite everyone is pictured there as there was 10 of them present at the time.
I cherish the times we can all be together. They are such a loving and joyfilled group to be with for sure.
Tomorrow is our families Thanksgiving feast. There will only be 3 of the grands there for this one. Maybe next year…
This was our Little Rays 1st birthday party
COUNTING THE DAYS
31 DAYS UNTIL WINTER !

147 DAYS UNTIL CAMPING SEASON BEGINS
Keep looking ON THE BRIGHT SIDE of things.
A little smile, a word of cheer, A bit of love from someone near…
